...I avoid my Home Teachers? By avoid I mean, ignore texts and phone calls and pretend not to see them at church and duck into the restroom to avoid encounters in the halls?
No....I'm not trying to prevent them from filling their calling, (technically) but one of them is CREEPY. By creepy I mean I went on a few dates with him MONTHS ago and then decided I wasn't interested and told him so. Ever since then he's acting like some puppy I just kicked. He hid out for a while licking his wounds but now he is back acting like I broke his heart and home teaching me is an "honor he's not worthy of but he'll try his best to man up to it" sort of attitude. He's SOOOO weird. And I can do weird under normal circumstances...but he so totally exceeds it, it's unreal. He makes me really uncomfortable and I do NOT want to talk to him under ANY circumstances. And his HT comp got a new girlfriend a while back and since then has been MIA so creepster is the only HT calling. If they BOTH wanted to meet with me I MIGHT be able to swing that. But it's just the pathetic one.
I'm probably a bad person for avoiding them. What if I let me Visiting Teachers visit me twice every month??? Does that make up for it? I should just call the EQ and request new HT's....but that's requires a phone call and I'd MUCH rather complain about it here.

I would think your two best options would be 1) tell him not to call on you without a companion (you're a single woman, after all, and him coming alone wouldn't look good, or 2) definitely call your EQ and request new HT's. It's up to you whether you want to explain why and give your reasons, or not. I like option 2 best. Life is too short to have to hide from people!
