Megan's GOOD date

I think it's time to let everyone know that we actually do get taken on some good dates.
This is mine and Mark's second date.
We had talked on our previous date about how much I enjoy astronomy. (okay so I'm a geek at heart) He told me earlier in the day that I had to dress warm for our date that night. That's the only he told me... He picks me up at 10 30pm with hot chocolate from Starbucks (my favorite!) already in the car, and a bunch of blankets in the back seat.
At first, I was a little weirded out... I mean come on, this was only our second date and he shows up at 10 30pm with blankets in the back seat? What kind of date was this??? What kind of girl did he think I was??? I decided to trust my "he is a non-creeper" instincts and get in. Besides, I had my pepper spray with me, just in case. :)
About 15 min into our ride, he FINALLY tells me where we are going; there just happened to be a meteor shower that night, and he wanted me to see it! We drove 40 minutes outside of Vegas so we could see it without the lights of the city. We set up the blankets in the back of his truck and sipped our hot chocolate. The shower didn't peak until 2am, so we had plenty of time to talk and get to know each other better. Now that's what I call a good date!
