Clueless is Out

I've spent the last FOREVER (ok...3 months) flirting with Clueless and he is oblivious. There is a big shindig next week and I really want to go, but he hasn't asked. So I finally gave in and decided to ask him. It was so scary! I'm glad I'm not a guy and expected to do that all the time. Anyway, I asked him and he already has a date. Soooooo sad. Then he spent an hour reassuring me his date was only a friend. Why would he bother doing that if he wasn't interested in me? But why would he ask his "friend" to go with him if he was interested in me? It makes no sense. I'm so tired of trying to read his mixed messages.
So I called up Mr. Bonfire and asked him last night. He said yes immediately and was really excited about it.
Clueless thinks I'm not going...so I can't wait to walk in there on Mr. Bonfire's arm.
