That's What Friends Are For

Seriously guys...I LOVE Jane. She is like....the best friend a girl could have. I've totally been stressing over how to handle the Rhett situation and she totally took care if it for me.

Usually I just ignore the guy and he gets the hint. But I felt like Rhett is such a nice guy that he deserved better than that. Clearly Jane agreed with me. So when I had a party the other day Jane went into the bathroom and when she came back she slid my cell into my hand and said, "It is done." Not 2 seconds later my phone was singing. It was Rhett. I sent him to voicemail. He left a message and called again. To voicemail again. And then he texted me. Uggghhh!! Jane CLEARLY dumped him for my via MY phone (so he'd think it was from me) and he kept trying to talk to me. Helloooooo ITS OVER RHETT. There were, like a MILLION cute guys at my house I wanted to flirt with and I couldn't do it with Rhett calling all night trying to find out what he did wrong. Geez....it was so pathetic. I listened to his voice mails a few days later and it was all this garbage like..."I think you're great. You're an amazing woman. I don't feel like I wasted any time with you. I've never been able to talk to anyone like I can with you...." etc... I mean, I know I'm a great catch and all, but if there's no chemistry I can't force it there Rhett!

So I'd like to take this moment to PUBLICLY thank Jane for her friendship and going above and beyond the call of duty when I didn't have the heart to crush Rhett's. And Jane....if you ever want me to return the favor, I'm your girl!
