I had a date with Rhett this weekend. When he picked me up he just sort of stood awkwardly in my entry way. I didn't know what the plan was for the evening so I invited him in. We ended up just hanging out at my place talking. Then he asked if we could put one of my movies on. Then he put his arm around me...and as he did this he asked me if he could put his arm around me. Ummm....I guess. Since he already did. (sad face) It was really awkward and I was afraid he was gonna try to kiss me so I pretended to fall asleep.
Seriously. Then when the movie was over and he "woke me up" I acted all sleep drunk and disoriented so he still wouldn't try anything as I said good bye at the door.
I just need to suck it up and tell this poor guy I don't feel the same way about him.
