Hot and Cold

Katy Perry got it right with her Hot'N'Cold song. I have this ex who still texts me regularly, even though we broke up months ago. He tells me he loves me, but doesn't want to see me. I tell him to stop because clearly if he loved me he'd want to spend some time together, which he is not wanting to do. And what does he tell me today??? He's not done "casually" dating other girls yet. But he still loves me. Ummm...."NOT DONE "CASUALLY" DATING OTHER GIRLS.....YET!?!?!??!?!?!" Does he think that when he's "done" he can call me up and I'll come running? And he STILL loves me!?!?! I'm not the expert but I'm pretty sure that isn't love. So why does he still say it? Does he think that is love? I tried to explain to him that it doesn't work that way. I told him it made me feel like he was keeping me on the back burner so he could check things out and see if he can find better than me. (fyi-he cannot) Then he GOT MAD AT ME and accused me of being manipulative for telling him how I feel. I'm not sure in what country it is manipulative to tell someone that their behavior makes you feel bad. Either way he stopped texting me. He's probably mad now. I know what you're thinking...."That Lynne really knows how to pick'em!"
